Carotid angioplasty and stenting in a nearly occluded artery



 This presentation is of a commonly performed procedure, i.e. carotid angioplasty and stenting. This is performed to protect from future stroke in symptomatic patients with more than 50% stenosis and asymptomatic patients with more than 70% stenosis of the carotid artery
